My name is Khoa, is the founder of DATANALYST MEDIA, an SEO Agency based in Vũng Tàu.

I have 4 of experience as an SEO Consultant and was recently hired by the Vũng Tàu for SEO training.

I love having the opportunity to help people especially with the product that I'm passionate about and when I help other people I also help myself because a lot of time I'm learning something in process of trying to find an answer for somebody.

I originally got involved with SEO as an end result of selling on Shopee.

And at POMA, I help simplify complex concepts about Google Ads and technology, to help businesses understand how to use them. Impostor syndrome is straight up just feeling like you don't belong and it can happen in all walks of life at any moment.

 I was an entry level professional with no experience and I had never been taught that you should get internships, I had never been taught, through my educational experience, how to kind of prepare to get this type of job. So I didn't really know what I was doing. So when I interviewed, the interviewer was very frustrated with me and she basically said, do you have any experience?

And I said no. And she said, I don't want to train you, I don't have time. So that was a real big bummer. And I always felt a little bit scared to try again. A wonderful opportunity came where I was actually a consultant. I was just doing, content editing, content management, blog posts and I got the opportunity to work with a tech company editing their content. Through that process I was asked to join google as a marketer as a product marketer and I thought wow, for the first time I get to try this thing, I have absolutely no idea how to officially do it.


However, after making my website, I realized it was getting no traffic and as a result it wasn’t generating any sales. As you do, I started to Google things like “how to get my website onto the first page of Google” and stumbled across SEO in 2019.

I remember this day like it was yesterday and says whilst smiling “13th Sept 2019, the day I first stumbled across SEO. I knew from this point onwards my future would take a different direction”.

From this day onwards, I studied SEO, day in day out. I mastered the skill within 3 years and now regularly helps business owners in Google and generate more revenue.

SEO is forever changing, to stay on top of your game you have to constantly be trying and testing new things. I regularly attends SEO conferences across the world to ensure he’s always updated on the latest Google algorithm updates and trends. He spends most of his time as an SEO Consultant For Businesses in Vũng Tàu.

I also run a marketing company in Vũng Tàu and has taught SEO to over 50 students.

Business aside, I'm extremely family orientated and is a big believer in “family is everything”. When I'm not working on the SEO Agency, I can most likely find him in a gym in Vũng Tàu. My name is Walter, a business data analyst with a background in consumer product manager.
I originally got involved with SEO as an end result of selling.
I work remotely as a freelance data analyst in POMAHOME. Getting insights out of data is something that I really like. Data visualization and machine learning are some techniques that I am using to achieve this. I am a big open source believer since I think with sharing solutions we can achieve a lot more as a community. Therefore I prefer to use R and python for my daily work.

A picture says more than a thousand words..but what exactly do you want to visualize?

Machine learning is a discipline that can be applied to a lot of domains. IBM Watson changes the world of healthcare by applying machine learning. Many companies are working on self driving cars, which are all based on some sort of machine learning. I have experience with supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning. In recent projects I have for example predicted nitrate level from image analysis and I have build a fraud detection algorithm based upon historical transactions.

 I offer remote training for a variety of topics related to R. In only a half day, you can be up and running with R and start with analyzing your data. Topics for beginners include: introduction to R/RStudio, Git, RMarkdown, and Shiny. Please contact me in case of specific training needs.

I have seen a lot of examples of very good but also very bad visualizations. For example a pie chart with more than 3 or 4 categories is not readable in my opinion. Because people are better at comparing lengths than areas, a bar chart is a better choice in many cases. I am using rainbow colors only occasionally since there is no “greater than” ordering in colors so it’s hard for a human to compare quantitative data. Until now I have used R/shiny, D3js, plotly, QlikView and Tableau for my data visualizations with most experience in the first 2.
